Dr. Daniel Kennedy, DDS, is an Ann Arbor native who received his BA in History of Art Honors and a minor in Zoology from the University of Michigan (U-M). While working on completing a master's degree in Physiology at Eastern Michigan University, he decided to follow his passion for helping people, aesthetics, and science. Dr. Kennedy continued his studies at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, graduating in 1981. Right out of dental school, Dr. Kennedy founded Ann Arbor Smiles, with Dr. Christopher Marzonie, DDS. Dr. Kennedy’s specialties in dentistry include orthodontia, cosmetic dentistry, oral sleep medicine, endodontics, implants, computerized dentistry, conscious sedation, and advanced restorative care. Dr. Kennedy, and his wife, Nancy, support the work of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, love traveling to northern Michigan, and spending time with their four daughters. UPDATE: As of December 2024, Dr. Kennedy has retired. All patients will be seen by Dr. Sykes.
